During ny Junior and Senior years in High school my folks has a 1970 Galaxie 500 2 dr fastback with a 351 Winsor. It was Charcoal green with a white vinyl top. My dad and i were the only drivers, so the Ford was kinda mine. I had more fun and enjoyment in that car during my high school days. When i joined the USAF in '73, I bought my first car, a 71' Dodge Challenger, 225 Slant Six , 3 spd floor shift with 43,000 miles on it. On my first trip home from Tech school my dad told me he thought i was gonna buy the Galaxie from him!! I was so upset cause no one had ever said I had that option!! Oh well still had a good time with the old Ford.
